Help To Get Tuned

So you found this forum and you want to hear Radio..... well easiest way is to have one of the following players...... WinAmp-RealPlayer-Windows Media Player or iTUNES, once you have any of these players you are almost ready to go.



Step by Step Guide starting with...
WinAmp
Step 1 - If you don't have WinAmp already download it free from www.winamp.com.
Step 2 - Install the program following on screen instructions.
Step 3 - Once you have WinAmp open along the top menu bar you will see FILE click that then in list you will see Play URL click to open and paste into the displayed box http://sc3.mystreamserver.com:8034 Step 4 - Enjoy the tunes

Windows Media Player
Step 1 - If you dont have Windows Media Player then get Newest Version FREE from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx
Step 2 - Install the program following on screen instructions.
Step 3 - Once you have Windows Media Player open at top LEFT you will see FILE, click that then OPEN URL. A new window will open copy http://sc3.mystreamserver.com:8034 into the box, then click OK.
Step 4 - Adjust volume to suit and enjoy the tunes.

iTUNES
Step 1 - To get newest version of iTUNES download it from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Step 2 - Install the program following on screen instructions.
Step 3 - When iTUNES is open along the top menus you will see ADVANCED, click on that then OPEN STREAM and paste http://sc3.mystreamserver.com:8034 into the box, then click OK.
Step 4 - WhooooooHoooooo Your tuned

RealPlayer
Step 1 - Get The Newest vesion of RealPlayer from http://uk.real.com/player/
Step 2 - As above install the program following on screen instructions.
Step 3 - When RealPlayer is running Click on FILE then OPEN and paste http://sc3.mystreamserver.com:8034 into the box, then click OK.
Step 4 - Turn Up The BASS and Enjoy the tunes


any other players will be added as and when I find they work

military network wont let me tune :'(

In addition to the PSP, you can also tune from the iPod Touch / iPhone. It is recommended that you have OS 3.0 - but there is a SHOUTcast Application to tune to major SHOUTcast stations. You can tune to UNITED Radio this way through the iPod Touch / iPhone

1. Download app 'Radiolicious' (free) from the iTunes App store
2. Once App is installed on your device, start it. Click "ME" at the bottom
3. You'll have to register. It only takes a minute.
4. Once registered, go back to "ME", and "Add Custom Station"
5. Title it UNITED Radio, and use the normal stream address (http://sc3.mystreamserver.com:8034).
6. Submit*. Go to "Favorites", and select United Radio. It'll take a few moments to connect to the stream

*The submit button can be a little difficult. If you cannot get it after a few tries, make sure the stream address is correct. Or Cancel, and try again.
